Checking out tourist places, old history, and hidden places to see what is, what could be, and what is left. A little bit of something for everyone.
My home base is Chattanooga, TN, but I try and film everywhere I go. Everything from abandoned buildings to roadside attraction gold.
If you like the videos I do. Please give me a like, share, and subscribe. Everyone have a fantastic day.

Hello nice video I met you in Sean hussey live chat nice video
Hello I'm here from Sean's chat
Congrats! I love the Chattanooga and Lookout Mtn videos. Grew up going to Rock City and visiting my grandparents in Chattanooga in the 1960s and 1970s. Love seeing these places now.
Some things change some things don't change. And some things change just a little
Can’t be as bad as that one day leaving north chatt lol. Miss ya Andy!
Miss you too hopefully you can come back and visit sometime
I love storms. Not so much driving in them though
Yeah everybody seems to drive crazier in a storm you think they would drive more safely
Sounds amazing
Point Park is one of my favorite places to film. It always has something amazing
I remember Kay’s !
I loved kays
My favorite view !!
Point Park is one of my favorite places to film
Amazing view great video Andy ! Please don't walk so close to the edge I have seen videos of UA-camrs fall to there death by accident. Please stay safe. Ps I changed my name on UA-cam Im same guy who got you to do river inn
I love this view
It is always a fantastic one
@AndysJourneys when I die I actually want my ashes spread off on the lookout valley side
that would be cool
I would not walk to the ledge lol. But it’s very pretty
There is one shelf about 10 feet down and then the big one so don't bounce :)
@@AndysJourneys lol
I love Chattanooga ❤
Its a pretty cool place with so much to do
this area is very haunted. i used to live here and have crazy stories.
I am glad that they kept the courthouse and it hasn't been knocked down or anything
@@AndysJourneys right beside it is where the old robinson farm used to be. i lived in this neighborhood my whole life. nearly 30 years. the whole neighborhood itself is haunted. i have insane photos of entities in this neighborhood. not even kidding. i don't mess around in there anymore.
That is cool. Thanks for the info.
❤❤❤
walking under the canopy was surreal. I would love to go back
I enjoy driving videos rain 🌧️ or not
Thank you it doesn't hurt that I have that DJI 3 stabilizer to keep it smooth too but it's unreal driving on this damn knowing that you're on the top of a mountain
Go up that 61/2 mile ride every time we go by there! We have taken a few of our friends and family when they come to visit also! Beautiful ride one of the best!
One of these days I will have enough time to walk some of the trails so I can share them. This place is amazing
Pretty ride along!
Thank you. This place is incredible
Beautiful location ♥️♥️♥️😎🇺🇸
I love Raccoon Mountain Pumped Storage. It is such a cool place
Really neat!
Thank you. This is such a cool place to check out
Cool video!
Thank you. Its amazing that I am driving across a dam with a reservoir that is on a mountain
Nice bro😊🧲⚓️👍
Thanks. The storm just brushed by. Man it was a beautiful drive
Great video Andy thanks
Thank you for coming by :)
Interesting
It has a ton of history in this area
Hi im here to run some of your Playlist right now
Thank you I greatly appreciate it hope you like what I'm doing
Every Sunday my dad and I would have a milk shake there.
The pizza place has ice cream too although it's not Kay's Kastle ice cream
Mmmm ice cream
Always a good idea :)
Is there any truth to the sentiment shared by some native Chattanoogans that there's something "more" going on in the deep underground there? Like, more than typical hydroelectric power dam stuff? Local lore and legend? I'd be very interested to hear about it.
I haven't heard anything. In the past they used to have tours you would ride an elevator to the level of the turbines and you could look into the turbine hall. I used to love going on the tour
@@AndysJourneys Thanks, it's a very interesting place. I think they froze tours after 9/11 and just recently started a "lottery" online to begin some tours again. If I weren't in the Midwest, I'd definitely be putting my name it. You should do it and make another video! (I wonder if they'd allow photography/video on tours?) Your content quality is awesome and I'd def return to watch that, cheers!
@arkameatys yeah I put my name in twice. No luck yet but I will film for sure when I get in there
Interesting place
This is a great museum and it looks like they do a lot of outdoor activities during the year
How cool. Use to roller skate all the time at the rinks here in California. Great post
Thank you this one was a blast from the past it's part of an elementary school now but was the community center for Lookout Mountain Tennessee. You just don't see them with wood floors anymore
Too bad they don't have rocking chairs on that porch. 😅
It's a beautiful spot to visit and hike but yeah it would be awesome to have rocking chairs
Oh wow
I can only imagine living here at the time before and during the Civil War just watching the world go by
Why are they pouring concrete over it? Interesting
This is a type of concrete casting where they use very high air pressure to create the structure to pour the concrete in. It allows for domes and other things like that
How beautiful is that?❤😊
The camera doesn't do it justice walking underneath the trees like that was amazing
🫂💖😇💖🫂
Is he someone or just a figure?
I think he is just a figure but I'm going to go by the park service guys to see if they have any info
I work for them.
My son kept calling the statues outside 'robots'!
Absolutely I can totally see that
What a beautiful spot.
It's a shame that the park service is letting it fall apart they're calling it demolition through neglect. This house has some history and should be saved
🫂💖😇💖🫂
Yeah its gotten worse
Andy's Journeys, awesome content dude
Thank you. I drop a longer video on Mondays and try and drop a short every day
